Description:
Rock Gitano, is a magnificent work, flamenco-rock fusion of unquestionable quality, with Raimundo showing the mastery of his guitar and Rafael fulfilling his vocal work to give us tarantos twinned with rock and roll, "Levante", tanguillos, "Badajoz", and all kinds of mixtures of bulerías, tangos and blues and even a version of Allman Brothers Band: "Jessica".
The Amadors have found a musical vein of unsuspected richness and enormous potential.
These discoveries will be better defined in their second album, titled Rock gitano and released in 1983. Rafael and Raimundo share guitars (stick and electric), bass and even drums, with the help of another brother, Ramón (who already played on the previous album), on drums and a cousin, Juan José Amador, on some vocals. Bulerias, tangos, tarantos, rock and adaptations of Lorca and Miguel Hernandez dot an album.
